Can We Please Talk About This Bachelor???

I should start off by saying that I have met our little Bachelor!!

Before he was the Bachlor, but after I fell in love with him on Emily's Season.

We ran into him in a bar in Dallas last year, as Emily's Season was airing and he was STILL in the running! We actually told him that we hoped she picked him on a Friday night and then watched him get the boot on Monday night! Talk about a foot in the mouth. Poor Sean!

Ladies, he REALLY is just as nice, pleasant and kind as he appears on the show! He was SO nice to us and joked around a bit. He was with a bunch of guys and didnt seem to be looking for attention. Im pretty sure we were the only girls in the bar who knew who he was. Definitely didnt strike me as a poser at all.

Anywho. I think this bachelor seems to be a very genuine guy. And I really hope that this show doesnt ruin him. He seems like his heart is in the right place and he's from a nice southern family so I really hope he turns out to be a good one! So many of these contestants turn into reality show careerers and I think thats sad. Please Sean, DONT DO IT!!

 

And whats with the gym and shower shots?? "Hey Sean, youre gonna lift some weights and then take a shower and we are going to use these clips when we are talking about you finding true love!" WFT? Dont get me wrong, he's easy on the eyes, but seriously IN THE SHOWER? These Bachelor producers are Over.The.Top! 

As for the ladies.

Where do they find these women?

I'll start out by saying that they are all drop dead gorgeous! And a LOT of them seem to be VERY sweet girls. You cant seriously make me believe that these girls need to be on the Bachelor to get a date. Which leaves me wondering WHY in the world they would ever WANT to go on this show.

I think the producers do a PERFECT job of cutting the footage and making some of these girls out to be complete bitches. So why in the world would anyone take that chance? You never know if youre going to one of the ones that they make the villain! I completely understand that these ladies say mean, crazy things but I also think a LOT of it is edited out of its original context to tell the story the producers want told for ratings. SO WHY DO WOMEN KEEP SIGNING UP FOR IT? Then after America gets through ripping them apart, the tabloids start in, and the bloggers and so on! Its neverending. I just dont think any amount of money or publicity could EVER be worth the ridicule they face.

Some general thought to a few of my favorite quotes thus far:

 

For anyone even considering going on the Bachelor/ette, you should absolutely NEVER say the following sentence: "Im not here to make friends. Im here to find the one." That sentence now translates into "Im a raging bitch and I will ruin your life for signing up for the same reality show I did and dating my boyfriend." Fact. You say that sentence and you will be the villain.

 

"Oh.Em.Gee HE KISSED ME!! I am SO getting that rose!!!" Earth to your mom, he kisses everyone sweetheart!! A kiss is DEFINITELY NOT an indicator of getting a rose... anymore.

 

"I'm a little out of my comfort zone here. I've never had to fight with 12 other women for one guy." I FLIPPIN HOPE NOT! That would be crazy!!! The Bachelor/ette is NOT normal life so no one in the house is "comfortable" with it. Come on ladies!

"Sean picked her up in a helicopter. NOT a limo or a nice car, a HELICOPTER." Have you EVER seen this show??? A helicopter is their second vehicle. If the helicopter really takes you be surprise you've been living under a rock and that no place to be!!

As for favorites, Im really sad to report that as of episode 2 I dont really have a favorite yet. Usually I already have picked the final 3 and for some reason Im really not sure this go round! I do really like this girl with him!
